Veterans Day

Today is Veterans Day, a day set aside to honor our military veterans. As Gen. Douglas MacArthur declared in his farewell speech at West Point:

The long gray line has never failed us. Were you to do so, a million ghosts in olive drab, in brown khaki, in blue and gray, would rise from their white crosses, thundering those magic words: Duty, Honor, Country.

We citizens of this greatest nation on earth owe so much to the veterans who served in our military services. Our veterans did their Duty with Honor for their Country. Remember them this Veternas Day, and honor them as they have honored us with their service.
